GET ready for the fright of your life – Scareshow is back!
The spook-fest at Church Farm in Thurstaston takes place over 13 nights from October 14 and comprises three separate attractions for all ages of thrill-seeker.
The Haunted Hay Ride is a walk round the Church Farm forest, with the audience right in the middle of the action.
The Creepy Cottage is an indoor, haunted house, with light and sound effects, animatronics and live action, and the Nightmare Circus is an interactive scare experience with evil clowns.
Š Adults, teens and older children can enjoy evening Fright and Fear rides, while fun rides during the day cater for younger scare fans.
Husband-and-wife team Matthew Ledsham and Catherine Peers are Scareshow co-producers.
Inspired by American haunted house experiences, Matthew and his family started as a small-scale amusement in 1997.
It now employs 30 actors, utilising the latest in “scare” technology and welcomes over 5,000 customers each year.
ŠMatthew said: “Scareshow was one of the first scare attractions in the country and as far as I know we’re still the only one to incorporate a forest ride. It’s like being part of a film; we get you as close as possible to the action.
Š“The story this year is that there’s been a deadly virus outbreak. Survivors have been evacuated to the Church Farm forest to escape from those infected, who have a murderous and angry compulsion to pass the disease on.
“It’s a great night out for groups, couples and families and gets bigger and better every year. The aim is to scare, entertain and provide a very different night out.”
ŠTickets for Scareshow must be pre-booked and are available from www.scareshow.com or 648 7838.
