Wirral nursing home nominated for a Your Champions award

A WIRRAL nursing home has been nominated for a Your Champions award.

Wirral News has teamed up with ScottishPower to highlight the good work of an individual or group which has benefited the community.

Ray Moore has nominated Brimstage Manor Nursing Care Home in Heswall in the Team category for their first class service to residents.

Ray, 85, told the News: “The home cares for residents with Alzheimer’s, and there is never any complaints from residents about them. They are very caring and top of their profession and nothing’s too much.

“My wife, Margaret, stayed there for eight years, and the service was excellent with a first class matron. They have a huge garden to stroll around and are taken out on trips.”
