A GREASBY pre-school group has received a £1,000 boost to help keep their children fit.
Brookdale pre-school has introduced yoga classes and will spend the donation from the Medicash Good Health Fund on specialist equipment and training for staff.
The group caters for two to five- year-olds and manager Ruth Doig said yoga is an important aspect of their activities.
She added: “We are so grateful to Medicash for making our wish of delivering weekly yoga classes to our children possible.
“ Our classes combine yoga with storytelling and nursery rhymes which not only helps children develop their physical stamina and flexibility but also fuels their imagination.
“Yoga is proven to enable children to relax and improve their concentration, learning and behaviour.”
