Patrols to catch golfers not paying green fees on Wirral courses

EXTRA patrols are being set up at Wirral’s municipal golf courses to make sure everyone playing the course has paid the appropriate fee.

Regular evening patrols have now been launched in addition to existing daytime rounds to ensure every golfer has paid their green fee at the ticket office prior to teeing off.

Wirral Council operates four municipal golf courses at Arrowe Park, Brackenwood, Hoylake and Warren, as well as three pitch and putt facilities at Kings Parade, Wallasey Beach and Arrowe Park and Club TG, the tri-golf facility in New Brighton aimed at younger players.

Green fees on the municipal courses vary depending on the course.
