NEWTON football ground will play host to a charity football match to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care on Sunday May 1.
The boy v girl fixture will see the boys play wearing a dress and wellies and the girls play in a football kit.
The match will kick-off at 11am and all age ranges will be participating including Wirral’s Ridger football team.
After the game there will be a charity fun day held at the Farmers Arms in Frankby which will include cake stalls, face painting, a bouncy castle, raffle and tombola.
The fun day will continue into the evening with a disco and karaoke and a further raffle which includes signed Kenny Dalglish memorabilia, a signed Celtic shirt and local restaurant vouchers.
Event organiser, Claire Philliskirk , 27 said: "My Nan passed away last year and Marie Curie were great looking after her.
"It is a great charity that a lot of people can relate to."
