‘Time to Shine’ event at Thornton Hall Hotel

AN EXCITING singing event is taking place this month in Wirral for up-and-coming singers.

Ten talented singers from across the borough will be picking up a microphone and taking to the stage to show off their vocal skills.

‘Time to Shine’ is the first event of its kind in Wirral.

John McGlennon, 22, of JM Events, Birkenhead, has organised the event.

He said: “I am really pleased to be hosting ‘Time to Shine’, because there are a lot of talented young people across Wirral, but the majority of them do not get the opportunity to pursue their dream of singing.’’

The ten hopefuls, aged between 16 and 25, will be performing at Thornton Hall Hotel, Thornton Hough, on Friday February 25, at 7pm.
