Revolver hosts a music event in conjunction with Vendetta Records

A NEW music night is to be held in Birkenhead, starting this Friday, February 18.

Revolver, the venue on the roundabout of New Chester Road, is showcasing an event of aspiring rock and alternative music bands.

On the third Friday of every month, Revolver will join forces with Vendetta Records to present audiences with ‘Revolver Rocks!’, highlighting the best new talented musicians from across Wirral.

Jon Jarvis of Vendetta, said: “We are looking forward to the showcase nights and very interested in hearing from other bands who think they have what it takes to make it in this business. Genre is less important than a will to succeed.” This Friday the line-up is mainly metal, with bands Absolence, Bury the Conscious, Blast Tyrants and All Out of Luck plying their trade at Revolver.

Next month, there will be a mix of indie, blues, rockabilly and ska performances.

Spokesman for Revolver, Keith Thompson, said: “Vendetta Records have a talented spectrum of artists who are making waves on the circuit, so it’s a good chance for local fans to see what’s new.”

Admission is free before 10pm, and the first band will be hitting the stage at 8pm.
