Lawyer and Wirral hospice trustee in training for charity events

A LAWYER and hospice trustee is hosting a ball as she prepares to tackle two gruelling charity challenges.

Helen Watson is in training to run the London Marathon in April, before cycling across Kenya in five days in November.

She is raising money for Claire House hospice, of which she is a trustee.

Mrs Watson, who is head of employment at Chester law firm Aaron & Partners, said: “I grew up on the Wirral, and Claire House has always been very close to my heart.”

The masquerade ball, which will take place at the Doubletree by Hilton Chester Hotel, in Hoole, on March 11, will help her raise the minimum £4,500 in sponsorship money needed to compete in the two events.
