WIRRAL Council is asking for views on open space in the borough.
Members of the public are being asked to answer a questionnaire on what they think of the open spaces near them.
Their answers will be used in the council’s Open Space Assessment, which in turn will be used to inform a new framework guiding decisions on planning applications.
The Local Development Framework will replace the Unitary Development Plan, which was adopted in February 2000.
The assessment will look at the quantity, quality and accessibility of different types of open space.
Copies of the questionnaire are available from all Wirral libraries, One Stop Shops, and at the public counter at the Cheshire Lines Building, Canning Street, Birkenhead.
The deadline for comments is 5pm on Friday, January 7. For more information call 691 8206.
