Police search farms in hunt for missing Ellesmere Port dad
POLICE have carried out an extensive search at a disused Heswall farm where a missing dad-of-two used to work.
John Burke, left, vanished just hours before he was due to go to his sister Kate Williamson’s wedding.
A month ago, the 38-year-old left his pressed suit hanging up at the Ellesmere Port house where the male members of the wedding party were getting ready and went to buy some cigarettes.
He never returned.
Police have carried out an extensive search at a disused farm in Willaston, near Neston, after being told Mr Burke used to work there.
The buildings have been empty for some time, but fears grew the missing man could be taking refuge inside.
They also searched Badgers Rake Farm, in Ellesmere Port.
Mr Burke’s distraught family, led by Emma, have issued a new plea for information.
