Dinghy youths warned over inflatable dangers

A WARNING about safety at the seaside has been issued after three teenagers had a narrow escape from disaster in a dinghy.

The three youths were in an inflatable near Perch Rock in New Brighton, Wirral, last Tuesday.

Colin Connolly a powerboat instructor from Safe water Training, based in the town, warned they could be drifting and advised them to return to land.

The coastguard team from Hoylake were called, but not needed to rescue the youngsters, aged about 14.
