A WIRRAL businesswoman has won a national award.
Steph Harrison, from Greasby, won Most Outstanding Activity Leader for the Under 5s 2010 in the What’s On 4 Little One’s National Awards.
The winners were announced at the end of last month with 46 nominations in Steph’s category, and more than 27,000 parents cast their votes to determine the winner.
Steph said: “I’m so overwhelmed that so many new mummies and daddies voted for me, thank you so much, this means the world to me.”
She won the award for her Baby Sensory classes, which are held in numerous locations across Wirral and Cheshire.
The classes are focused on development activities for parents and babies to share in their first year, and include light shows, bubbles, bells, music, and puppet shows.
Steph added: “I absolutely love my job. Seeing the parents and their newborn babies enjoying each activity and seeing what an impact my classes are having on each baby’s development is such a buzz!”
As part of the celebrations, Steph is expanding her award-winning business with new Toddler Sense classes later this year which will be available to toddlers from 13 months to three years.
