How you can take part in the Wirral Coastal Walk

THE walk starts at Seacombe Ferry on Sunday morning.

Walkers will pass by New Brighton, Leasowe, Meols, Hoylake, West Kirby and Caldy before finishing at Thurstaston Country Park.

Just turn up on the day to take part – registration is from 8.30 to 11am at Seacombe Ferry. Walkers must register to receive their certificate and gifts at the finish line. The registration fee is £3 per adult and £1 per child aged 10 and under.

Completing the full 15 miles is optional and participants can also finish at 5 or 10 mile points.

Free parking is available at Thurstaston from 8am on the day. Buses are available between 2 and 6pm from Thurstaston to West Kirby Station (price £1) and Thurstaston to Seacombe Ferry (price £2).

The Wirral Coastal Walk is organised by the Rotary Club of North Wirral and sponsored by Unilever.
