Wirral woman found dead in alleyway, inquest hears

THE inquest has opened into the death of a woman found dead in an alleyway in Wirral.

Pauline Ryder, 53, from Chapelhill Road, Moreton, was discovered by a refuse worker on December 27.

Police and paramedics attended the scene off Oakenholt Road in Moreton.

Coroner’s officer Donald Johnston she was last seen alive at around 10pm on Boxing Day when she had visited the Tesco store in Moreton.

The results of a post mortem were withheld pending the outcome of further tests.

The inquest was adjourned.
