Wirral Partnership Homes starts building 30 affordable homes in Moreton

LANDLORD Wirral Partnership Homes is building 30 new homes in Moreton.

The not-for-profit organisation has appointed Forrest Construction to build 10 houses and 20 apartments in Chapelhill Road.

Building of the new affordable homes is already underway and a sod-cutting event was held to celebrate the start on site.

Leasowe and Moreton East councillors Anita Leech and Ron Abbey, along with representatives from Forrest Construction and WPH, dug the first hole for the foundations.

Cllr Abbey said: “We are absolutely delighted that WPH is building in the area, which has great facilities for families.”

WPH is currently on target to provide 400 new homes ranging from apartments to family houses by 2015.
