Police investigating unexplained death of woman in Wallasey

DETECTIVES are investigating following the unexplained death of a woman in Wallasey yesterday afternoon (Sunday, April 22).

Officers were notified of the death of a 29-year-old woman at a flat in Kingsway by paramedics at around 3.50pm.

It is not yet clear how the woman died and a post mortem examination will take place to establish her cause of death.

A 44-year-old man from Wallasey has been arrested in connection with her death.

He has been taken to a police station for questioning by detectives.

House-to-house enquiries are being carried out and CCTV is being sought.
