Men needed for speed dating in Wirral

MEN are wanted to join a speed dating event in Wallasey.

Sparks will be flying at a speed dating event with a twist, inspiring romance through a mutual love of literature.

Booklovers Speeddating will take place at Wallasey Library on Valentine’s Day, February 14, between 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

This is a chance for participants to get passionate with potential suitors by discussing literature.

Currently a majority of women have signed up, so more men are needed to balance the numbers. Organisers are urging eligible bachelors to take part.

Cllr Chris Meaden, cabinet member for culture, tourism and leisure said: “So far we have had a remarkable response from ladies who want to take part, but only a limited number of men.”

Tickets cost £3 including light refreshments.
