THE Bishop of Birkenhead will be spending the weekend in Liscard on March 13 and 14.
During his visit the Rt. Rev Keith Sinclair will be based at St Thomas Church, Seaview Road, and will be helping with the church’s parish mission.
The Bishop and the Vicar of St Thomas’s, Rev Robert Nelson, will be in the centre of Liscard on the Saturday morning to meet parishioners.
Rev Nelson said: “He will be out and about meeting people as they shop, and visiting a cafe or two. He also wants to have a drink at a local pub that evening!”
The Bishop will be preaching at the Mothering Sunday service at the church on Sunday, March 14, starting at 10am.
There will also be a special Songs of Praise service at 6.30pm the same evening.
