A CHARITY launched in memory of a Wirral teenager today confirmed it has found a property it would like to move into.
But Angie Churchill from the Charlotte’s Brightside C.L.C charity said details of the new building still have to be kept under wraps as they are still in talks with legal experts.
The Charlotte’s charity was launched following the death of Mrs Churchill’s daughter, Charlotte, from Wallasey, who was just 19 when she was killed last April in a car accident.
The premises will be used by the charity to create a community centre for young people in Charlotte’s memory. So far, to date, the charity has raised more than £14,000 and a whole host of further fundraisers are planned, including a Sportsmans Dinner at The Leasowe Castle Hotel on March 23.
Mrs Churchill thanked everyone who was helping to make the charity a success.
She said: “The response we have had to the charity has been amazing, helping us as a family and helping Charlotte’s friends.”
