DETECTIVES want to trace this man after an armed robbery at a Wirral bookmakers.
The still was taken by the cameras inside Ladbrokes, on Wallasey Road, Wallasey, at around 5.15pm on Thursday, August 5.
While two customers were in the betting shop, a man with a knife burst in and forced his way behind the counter. There he threatened the cashiers with the knife before grabbing a stack of cash.
As he ran out of the shop, the thug pushed one of the customers – a pensioner – to the floor.
It is thought he ran in the direction of St Albans Road. No-one was physically injured, but the cashiers and the pensioner were left shaken.
The knifeman was white, in his early twenties, about 6ft tall, slim, with shaved, light brown hair. He was wearing a grey hooded top and jeans.
A police spokesman said: “We would like to speak to the man in the picture.”
Anyone who recognises the face in the picture should call police on 0151 777 2263 or Crimestoppers 0800 555111.
