Moreton’s Christmas lights to be switched on this weekend

MORETON’S Christmas lights will be switched on this Saturday (November 7).
The Mayor of Wirral, Councillor Andrew Hodson, and Mayoress Kathy Hodson will switch on the lights at 6pm outside the Coach and Horses.
There will be entertainment in the pub from 2pm, including a disco and live music from top Wirral band Insanity Beach.
Beryl Jones, chair of Moreton Community Lights Association, is stepping down this year after five years in the role.
She said: “I have decided that this is the last year I will be organising the lights so I am looking for someone to take on this role to ensure that we have Christmas lights in our town next year, and in subsequent years.”
