New Brighton beauty Nadia Musa is looking for your votes for Miss England 2009

NEW Brighton’s Nadia Musa has reached the final of beauty contest Miss England.

The 22-year-old just completed a law degree but has been interested in modelling and performance since attending Belvedere High School in Liverpool.

Nadia, who lives in Cavendish Road, only applied a few months ago but believes she stands good chance of winning because of her Malaysian looks and her ambition to help others through her own charitable organisation.

Miss England Director, Angela Beasley, said: “We look for girls that are not only beautiful but have the confidence and determination to do well in their lives and inspire others.”

Currently studying for a masters in Events Management, the Miss England hopeful has already raised more than £3,000 for eating disorder charity B-eat, after hosting a charity evening.

The Final of Miss England will be held as a two-day event on July 19 and 20 at Hilton London Metropole Hotel where Nadia will be up against 49 other girls from the UK.

All of the finalists have a chance to be fast-tracked to the final 15 by campaigning for votes. The public vote ends Monday July 20 at 6pm.
