“My parents have never got over losing their only son”

HILLSBOROUGH victim Graham Roberts was engaged to marry Sandra and the couple were about to buy their first house together.

The 24-year-old worked for British Gas and many employees contacted his family in Wallasey after the tragedy to tell them he had been a good supervisor.

He was also a keen fisherman.

Sister Sue said: “If I was ever let down by friends and stuck in of a weekend he'd insist I join him and his friends on their night out.

“My parents have never got over losing their only son, and, like my dad, who passed away on March 3, Graham was always fair and willing to explain the reasons behind his opinions.

“His fiancee and her family are all still very good friends of the family, which shows the extent the unbreakable bond that has been made between us.”
