WALKERS in Wallasey will be stepping out on Saturday to raise money for a breast cancer charity.
The Crocus Walk for Breakthrough Breast Cancer starts at Seacombe Ferry at 11am.
The walk will take approximately one hour, finishing in New Brighton.
The Parade Cafe will be serving up free bacon rolls and cups of tea at the finish line for everyone who takes part.
New Brighton Councillor Sue Taylor, who is organising the walk, said: “Supporting Breakthrough is very important to me as breast cancer affects the lives of so many women, men and families.
“Organising a Crocus Walk has been a lot of fun; we’re really excited about getting out there and having a great day to raise funds.
“The walk has had great support from fellow councillors, colleagues, friends and local people.
“We’re asking for a £10 donation from everyone doing the walk and all proceeds will go to Breakthrough.”
