Dog feared drowned after swimming out to sea off New Brighton

A DOG was feared drowned at the weekend after it swam too far out to sea at Fort Perch Rock, New Brighton.

The pet’s owner called the Liverpool Coastguard at 5pm on Sunday to alert them to the situation.

No rescue had to take place however, as the dog swam safely back to shore.
