One-day-only charity shop to help Liscard’s Place In The Park

A CHARITY shop to raise money for the Liscard-based Place in the Park drop-in centre will open for one day only this Saturday.

The shop, which will be based in the St Alban’s Parish Centre on St Albans Road in Liscard, will open from 10am-3pm.

Anyone who would like to drop off any items suitable to be sold in a charity shop can drop them off at the St Alban’s Parish Centre on the afternoon of Friday, October 3.

The Place in the Park in Liscard Road provides a friendly, relaxed venue where people with mental health problems can meet and chat with friends.

It was set up in 1995 by the Wallasey Churches Together’s Social Responsibility Committee.
