Mourners urged to wear bright colours at funeral for Wallasey model Jenny Grant

“AS little black as possible” is the dress code for teen beauty Jenny Grant’s funeral this week.

In a bid to reflect the model’s bubbly and vibrant personality, friends and family are being asked to dress casually in bright colours to celebrate her life.

Since being found dead in her Wallasey home last week, heartfelt tributes have continued to pour in, leading to a forum being set up on an internet social networking site where friends have been their messages of condolence.

The group has gained over 1,000 members all expressing their deepest sympathies and genuine disbelief at the tragedy.

One heartbroken friend wrote: “Words seem so inadequate to describe the shock we are all feeling”, with another describing Jenny as a “ray of sunshine”.

Jenny’s funeral is being held on Friday (September 26) at Landican Cemetery, Arrowe Park Road, Birkenhead from 2.30-3.30pm.
