Pupils step to it to help charity

CHILDREN from Riverside Primary School have donated money to local children’s charity Stick ‘n’ Step.

A Spot the Ball competition and a raffle were held to raise the £225.

Pupils Molly Murphy (year 4), John Robinson (year 5) and Madison Luetchford (year 6) also presented the children at Stick ‘n’ Step with chocolates.

Kerry Roe-Ely, Community and Events fundraiser at Stick ‘n’ Step, said: “We appreciate their generosity greatly and look forward to future visits from the school.”

Stick ‘n’ Step work with seventy children with Cerebral Palsy and other motor disabilities, helping them learn to stand, walk and run as well as helping them gain independence and increase their self-esteem.
