temporary road closure in Raby Mere from January 5

UNITED Utilities will be carrying out essential water main renewal works on Raby Mere Road and Hargrave lane, Raby Mere from Monday, January 5.

The temporary road closure will take place in two phases.

Raby Mere Road, Raby Mere will be closed from its junction with Willaston Road to its junction with Hargrave Lane for approximately 3 weeks.

During this time traffic will be diverted via Willaston Road, Benty Heath Lane, Hargrave Lane in both directions.

The second phase will begin on Monday, January 26 and last for approximately 2 weeks. During this time Hargrave Lane, Raby Mere will be closed from its junction with Raby Mere Road to its junction with Benty Heath Lane.

Traffic will be diverted via Raby Mere Road, Willaston Road, Benty Heath Lane in both directions.

Access for residents will be maintained at all times and advance information boards will be in place the week before works start.
