Ness Botanic Gardens aims for glory at Northwest Tourism Awards

NESS Botanic Gardens is among the tourist attractions vying to be named the best in the North West.

They will battling it out at the fifth annual England’s Northwest Tourism Awards tonight (Wednesday).

The prestigious event, organised by the North West Regional Development Agency and hosted by interior designer and television personality Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, will be held at Liverpool’s St George’s Hall.

Regional winners will have the opportunity to represent the North West in the national awards, organised by VisitBritain in April 2009.
