Neston market traders to pay half fees during regeneration work

TRADERS at Neston Market will pay half their usual fees during construction work on the redevelopment of Neston town centre.

Ellesmere Port and Neston Council has agreed to the revised figure after traders’ representatives expressed concerns about the effect the construction of the new town square, supermarket and car park would have on their businesses.

During the construction period the market will be temporarily relocated on to Brook Street and part of Chester Road car park.

Construction work on the town square, supermarket and car park is set to start in January next year and should be completed by Easter 2010.
