Stanney Fields Park in Neston hosts play day event

STANNEY Fields Park in Neston is hosting an afternoon of fun for all the family later this month.

The park play day will take place on Saturday, August 16 from 1-4.30pm.

There will be a host of activities and entertainment for families and young people, including bowling with Neston Bowling Club, steam traction engine rides, a mobile climbing wall, face painting, badge making and road safety roadshow.

Park development officer Mary Lavery said: “We really hope as many people as possible head to the park for the play day.

“It promises to be a great event with something for all ages to enjoy.”
