Neston council services disrupted by Unison strike

COUNCIL services will be disrupted today (Wednesday) and tomorrow due to a strike by members of the Unison and Unite unions.

Civic Way offices in Neston, Neston Civic Hall, community centres, and Stanney Oaks Leisure Centre will shut.

There will also be no burial services at Neston Cemetery and chapel buildings and public toilets will be closed.

Bins usually collected on Wednesdays will be emptied on Friday instead, with recycling collections on Tuesday (July 22).

Bins normally collected on Thursdays will be emptied on Monday (July 21), with recycling collections next Wednesday.

Garden waste will be collected on the next scheduled collection days.
