Dizzy Dames
THE plight of 49 destitute children in an orphanage in Kathmandu, Nepal, has touched the hearts of a group of West Kirby women.
The children, aged between three and 15 who have had no full-time care, no training in hygiene, no proper diet and are living in a run-down building without electricity, have had financial aid sent to them by the Dizzy Dames of Wirral who held a special fundraising lunch.
They raised £115 which will go to a British nurse now living and working in Kathmandu.
