RANGERS in Heswall are holding a series of practical activity days to help remove scrub and young trees from heathland habitats on Thurstaston Common and Heswall Dales.
The activity day for Heswall Dales is Sunday, November 23, from 10.30am-3.30pm. Full training in the use of tolls and safety will be provided.
Volunteers are asked to wear suitable clothing and footwear and meet at the Dale Farm entrance on Oldfield Road off Quarry Road West, which is off Telegraph Road, Heswall.
An activity day on Thurstaston Common is from 1-3.30pm on Sunday, November 30. Meet at the Thurstaston Hill car park off Telegraph Road, just north of the Cottage Loaf.
A further event at Heswall Dales takes place on Sunday, December 14 from 10.30am to 3.30pm. Meet at the Dale Farm entrance.
