Brimstage hosts major embroidery exhibition

A MAJOR exhibition which brilliantly illustrates the many facets and techniques of embroidery and needlework to the highest standard is currently on display at Voirrery Embroidery Centre, Brimstage.

Entitled Exhibition Extracts…and More, the exhibition is being staged by the North Wales branch of the Embroiderers’ Guild - their first at the centre - and is on display until Saturday, March 29.

The stunning and colourful exhibition of more than 100 pieces by 50 branch members encompasses a great variety of skills and techniques including hand and machine embroidery, beadwork, stumpwork, goldwork, cross stitch, patchwork and quilting and exquisite mixed media and textile art work.

Voirrey Embroidery Centre is open Monday-Saturday from 10am-5pm, Sunday from 1-5pm and admission is free. It is open over Easter, except Good Friday.
