WIRRAL Grammar School for Girls in Bebington has always enjoyed a strong reputation for choral singing and current vocal talents will be showcased at a special charity concert at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.
The concert on March 18 will bring together pupils, staff and parents from Wirral Girls and pupils from Wirral Boys, totalling more than 150 performers.
The Platonix Choir and Mixed Choir will both perform alongside the Creative Community Choir and smaller groups in the wonderful acoustic of the Concert Room in the cathedral crypt.
All groups will be performing a cappella with repertoire including Renaissance, pop, folk and African music.
All profits from the concert will go to MusicPlace North West – a charity that provides music therapy in the Merseyside area for people of all ages who have communication difficulties, emotional and behavioural issues, learning difficulties and neurological conditions.
Tickets are £5 (adults) and £3 (children).

The concert starts at 7.30pm and will last for approximately One hour 15 minutes.
