Famous store is subject of talk

THE history of Liverpool and Birkenhead department store TJ Hughes will be the subject of the next meeting of the Bebington Group of the Family History Society of Cheshire.
John Leston will be the speaker at the meeting, which will be held on Monday, May 23 at Bebington Civic Centre from 7.30pm.
The Bebington branch of the group meets on the fourth Monday of every month and welcomes new members and guests.
A help desk is held in Bebington Library on the first and third Thursday of each month between 10am and 12.30pm.
There, the group’s members are happy to give guidance and advice on family history research.
