Bebington’s Safe Harbour Dementia Care Centre staff to swim with sharks

BRAVE staff at Bebington’s Safe Harbour Dementia Care Centre will come face-to-face with one of man’s deadliest predators in a bid to raise money to give residents an “enriched life.”

Activities coordinator Victoria Wilcocks, 25 and her assistant Sara McEntee, 19, will plunge into the waters of the Blue Planet Aquarium with Europe’s largest collection of sharks.

Victoria said: “We wanted to do something really crazy to make people think ‘wow’ and want to sponsor us.”

The girls hope to raise more than £1000 to help provide activities for the residents.

The Abbots Drive care centre houses 35 residents of both long-stay and respite care and has begun daycare services.
