Thousands attend Port Sunlight Summer Festival

THOUSANDS flocked to Port Sunlight’s seventh Summer Festival featuring dog shows, a car rally and over 100 craft stalls.

The festival, organised by staff from the Port Sunlight Museum and Garden Village, was attended by over 12,000 visitors.

Organiser Nigel Chapman Rogers said: “We’ve worked hard to make sure the festival really celebrates the best in family entertainment.”

Acts included the Mersey Morris Men, Lyceum Brass Band, Hung Gar Kung Fu and the Wirral Symphonic Wind Band.

A fun dog show had more than 200 entries.
