COLIN Jones Bathrooms have been short-listed for Wirral Trader of the Year.
The Bebington based contractor will have to fend off three other entrants to win the award, presented by Wirral Council chief executive Steve Maddox in February.
Rivalling them are Furber Roofing, The Mobile Handyman, and Caldy Construction.
Colin Jones Bathrooms are no strangers to recognition, being highlighted as a five-star business at the 2008 Wirral Trader Awards, and receiving an award from the Wirral Fair Trading Scheme in 2006.
The list was announced last Thursday at a Wirral Traders Association awards ceremony celebrating the finest in the Borough.
All 120 members of Wirral Traders Association were asked to provide customer service surveys to their employers after completing jobs, and among the many excellent ratings 35 businesses received 100% satisfaction.
Wirral Council head of strategic development Kevin Adderly handed out last week's awards, saying: “Wirral Council is working hard to support all our businesses, and I was pleased to present the certificates to a group of well deserving traders. “Excellence in customer service is difficult to achieve, and the more quality businesses we have in the borough the better for us all.”
