THE LADY Lever Art Gallery is to hold an open evening in aid of the Hillsborough Memorial Appeal..

People will get the rare opportunity to visit the gallery in Port Sunlight, for an evening of music and entertainment tomorrow, September 3, from 6-8pm.

The Capriccio Singers Chamber Choir will perform in the main hall and French artist Tobias Toad will lead children in a craft activity in one of the galleries.

The art gallery shop will be open and refreshments will be available in the cafe.

Visitors will also be able to see the special exhibition Whistler: The Gentle Art of Making Etchings and talk to the gallery’s curator.

The gallery open-evening is the first in a series of events planned to raise awareness of the appeal.
