ARTHUR Horrocks, from Bebington, was 41 when he died at Hillsborough.
At the time of his death Arthur had a job at the Prudential.
He was a popular worker and was well remembered in the area by his co-workers and friends.
His wife Susan Horrocks worked at Town Lane Infant School and moved to Bidston after her husband’s death.
She still lives there today.
Susan said: “He loved LFC with a passion.
“He enjoyed a good night out, and loved family parties .
“He was also the life and soul and he had a great sense of humour.
“ He loved his two boys -Jamie and Jon - very much and would be proud of the two of them.
“He was known as the man from The Pru, and was highly thought of not only as the Pru Man, but also as a friend to his customers.”
