Elderly woman dies after Higher Bebington road accident
AN elderly woman died after hitting her head as she stepped out of a car in Higher Bebington on Tuesday (March 3).
The woman was a passenger in a car on Queenswood Avenue at around 6pm. It is believed she got out of the car and was still holding on to the side when it moved slightly, causing her to lose her footing and hit her head on the pavement.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them on 777 5744, 777 5771 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
