Break ice with a mulled winter warmer

FORGET mulled wine this Christmas why not try mulled cider.

The Betwixt Beer Company has created the IceBreaker, an exciting spiced ruby recipe which can be drunk hot or cold to keep out the chill of winter days .

Explained brewer Mike McGuigan: “It was my brother’s idea. If you are heating it up, add a touch of honey for a really warming brew.”

Chairman of Wirral Farmers’ Market, Anne Benson, said: “The December market always has a really good atmosphere as we are gearing up for Christmas and there are plenty ideas for gifts for food lovers and produce you can stock up on and get ahead of your Christmas shopping.”

Wirral Farmers’ Market returns on Saturday, December 13, from 9am.
