EQUESTRIAN land in Higher Bebington was sold at a Chester auction last week for £120,000 - more than six times the average price of land in the North West.
The stables and paddocks on 3.5 acres off Red Hill Road made £120,000, £70,000 over the original guide price.
Director of auctioneers Denton Clark, Edward Clark, said: “With the highest concentration of horses and riders in the UK, equestrian land on Wirral is at a premium.
“The land in Bebington went for £33,000 per acre, more than six times the average price of land in the North West, £5,252 per acre.”
