A silver medallist visited Claire House Hospice to kickstart a charity cycle ride in America. Rik Waddon, who won silver in the Beijing Paralympics, launched the fundraiser which will see six men cycle from the edge of the Pacific Ocean to the shores of the Atlantic in September. They hope to raise £150,000 for the children’s hospice.The team comprises Roy Jones, Karl Rosedale, Gary Ward, Dave Walker and Andy Preece and also Mike Cox, their back–up man.
