Two teenagers mugged in Birkenhead Park

TWO teenage boys were mugged in a park in Birkenhead.

The boys, aged 13 and 14, were walking through Birkenhead Park when they were approached by a man in his late teens or early 20s who told them to hand over their phones – a Blackberry Curve and a Blackberry Touch.

Neither of the boys were injured during the incident which happened around 8.20pm on Friday, March 2, but both were left very shaken.
