Wirral business, ReciproCity Wirral, set up to direct building waste to charities and communities groups

A UNIQUE idea has been launched by a Wirral company to direct any building waste to charities and communities groups.

Schools, colleges, charity and scout groups, church halls, youth clubs, animal shelters and community projects can get surplus building materials at a fraction of the retail price.

The new business offering this service is ReciproCity Wirral.

Mayor of the Wirral, Cllr Moira McLaughlin attended the launch.

Any recognised good cause can register free for materials and list their project along with a wish- list of material.

Construction companies also benefit by reducing their waste and associated costs.

Owner Les Owens said: “With a background of 35 years in the construction industry, I understand the necessity of what we are doing as Recipro.’’
