Crash scene at Neston 460
Facebook tributes to victims
WITHIN hours of the deaths of the four friends, tributes started flooding onto social networking site Facebook.
Groups were set up for Michaela, John and Eddie which enable all of their friends and family to leave messages of condolence and to pay their respects.
Their friends also used the pages to organise visiting the scene and a drink in the Brewers Arms to celebrate their lives.
Friends and family of Gill paid their respects on her personal page, which can only be seen by people she befriended before she died. Alix Fisher wrote on the wall for Eddie Smith’s group “RIP Eddie Smith”.
She wrote: “R.I.P eddie, can’t believe it, such a shock after growing up with you all through school from when we were four. We have always been mates . . . all the good times and the laughs we had sitting in mine and going out. You will be missed by all, rest in peace xxxx.”
On John Aston’s Group, “RIP John Aston”, Charles Beddard wrote: “RIP totally shocked and horrified with the devastating news, you were a fun loving lad, made everybody smile and happy, will miss you always.”
